Robyn Rihanna Fenty (born February 20, 1988), better known as simply Rihanna is a Barbadian R&B recording artist and songwriterBorn in Saint Michael, Barbados, Rihanna moved to the United States at the age of 16 to pursue a recording career under the guidance of record producer Evan Rogers. She subsequently signed a contract with Def Jam Recordings after auditioning for then-label head Jay-Z.

The album was nominated for nine Grammy Awards, winning Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “Umbrella,” which features Jay-Z.Her fourth studio album, Rated R, was released in November 2009 and peaked at number four on the Billboard 200. Its first three singles, “Russian Roulette”, “Hard” and “Rude Boy” peaked within the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, while “Rude Boy” peaked at number one. Loud, Rihanna’s fifth studio album, was released in November 2010, spawning the US and UK number one singles, “Only Girl (In the World)” and “What’s My Name?” and the international hit “S&M”.

Rebecca Alie Romijn (born November 6, 1972) is a Dutch American actress and former fashion model. She is best known for her role as Mystique in the X-Men films, and for her role as Alexis Meade on the hit show Ugly Betty.

Romijn was born in Berkeley, California, United States. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (née Kuizenga), a Community College teacher of English as a Second Language and textbook author, and Jaap Romijn, a custom furniture maker.Her father is a native of Barneveld, the Netherlands, and her mother is a third-generation Dutch American^[4] who met Romijn’s father while staying in the Netherlands on a teen-age exchange program.Romijn’s maternal grandfather, Dr. Henry B. Kuizenga, was a Presbyterian minister and seminary professor.When questioned about always being glamourous and beautiful on the Ellen Show, Romijn reveal that as a child in her early teens that she was in fact an insecure ‘drama geek’ and as a result of her growth spurt she suffered from scholiosis and was constantly in pain. Many sources say that she was once nicknamed the “Jolly Blonde Giant” because of her 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 m) height, but she has admitted to making that up “for a laugh”.While studying music (voice) at the University of California, Santa Cruz,she became involved with fashion modeling and eventually moved to Paris for more than two years.

Branching into the fashion industry, Duff has also launched her own clothing lines, Stuff by Hilary Duff and Femme for DKNY Jeans, and two exclusive perfume collections with Elizabeth Arden as well as having been signed on to modelling agency IMG Models.^[3] Other business ventures include writing a young adult novel Elixir and being accredited as an executive producer for According to Greta and a producer for the films Material Girls and Beauty & the Briefcase.
